Pricing
Because FDM printing requires specialized machinery and external resources, we offer this as a paid service. We want you to feel completely confident in your investment, so this page explains in detail how we calculate our rates and the options available for obtaining quotes or discounts.
How to Request a Quote
The fastest way to get started is through our web portal , where you can configure your print settings and receive an instant quote.
In the event that our online service is unavailable, you can email your technical requirements to sales@fxst.tech.
To maintain efficiency, we prioritize our automated system. If the web service is operational, please complete your request through that platform, as we generally do not issue quotes via email when the site is active.
Factors Determining Cost
We believe in total transparency: no hidden fees, no surprises. Here is a breakdown of the factors that influence the final price of your project:
Materials
Each project consumes a specific amount of material. Prices vary by type; for example, standard PLA is more economical than specialized materials like Titanium.
We calculate the material cost () using the following formula:
- : Total material cost for the product.
- : Total weight of the material used (in kilograms).
- : Price per kilogram of the chosen material.
Example: If a material costs $20/kg and your design uses 50g, the material cost will be only $1.00 ().
Ultimately, the price is the sum of all costs multiplied by the margin, then plus shipping, and then with applicable taxes:
Most of this calculation is performed automatically through the calculator on our website. Material weights and operator times are determined by our model slicing software, which allows us to provide you with instant, accurate quotes.
